NIACIN 101
More widely known as Niacin, it is also known as Vitamin B3.
For those of you who are not too familiar with this nutrient, it is responsible for supporting numerous reactions inside of the cells that convert nutrients into cellular energy.
Niacin’s primary cognitive action is as a cerebral vasodilator, which means it increases blood circulation to the brain. By delivering more oxygen, glucose and other nutrients to the brain, niacin can result in higher levels of alertness and greater concentration and mental stamina.
